Did you know that over 2% of children in Ontario are victims of child abuse? And that’s not even taking into account the friends and families of victims. Follow @quitchildabuse on Instagram to help Auburn spread awareness for this important cause.

Congratulations to our Aubcon team on a fantastic day this past Saturday. You worked hard on the set up, take down and ensured that the day ran smooth as bantha butter. There were a few very hard working prom committee members there who raised a good amount of money for the prom at the canteen. Thank you to all! All who took photos…please email me ASAP please. We are setting up a collage for tomorrow’s grade 9 orientation. Thanks!

A reminder for the cohort that you are meeting at lunch in room 102 tomorrow to finalize the welcome arrangements for our visiting school. A note to the rest of us Eagles…our cohort sister class from Ontario are coming for a visit and a tour on Thursday of this week. Our Eagles can usually be counted on to be a welcoming force…let’s put a special focus on that for Thursday so they go home flying high like the honorary Eagles they will be.

Speaking of welcoming…we will be welcoming our grade 9’s tomorrow for their orientation. We are looking forward to seeing our future Eagles and know you will take care to ensure their first experience is a great one.

At Lunch today:
In the caf: Mac and cheese and meatballs
