You can take care of your student fees in the main office. Please get them done by Friday.


Check your outstanding text books from the list posted outside student services. Please return or bring in the money to replace your lost textbooks.


A representative from the University of King’s College will be here on Tuesday September 24th during lunch time to speak to students about their programs and admissions.  Please see your school counsellor for more information.


Representatives from Acadia University will be coming to Auburn on Friday September 20th at 12:05pm to speak with students about their institution, programs and admissions.  They are offering FREE on-the-spot admissions to students interested in applying.  If you would like to apply, you must bring a transcript to the information session.  To order a transcript, please sign your name on the clipboard in Student Services no later than Wednesday September 18th, 2019. 

Sports:
There will be a Girls Hockey Meeting for any student wishing to try out for the Girls Hockey team this year.  It will take place at the beginning of lunch on Wednesday, September 18th in Room 225.  All are Welcome. Hope to see you there.

The boys soccer team kept the Juggernaut rolling with a 9-3 victory over Millwood. A hat trick from Ben Bruce no surprise. Liam Haley, Ryan Davis, Garret Hines and Tyler Mitchell all had goals. WIllwood even score one for us. Next game is tomorrow at 6 vs SHS at the cole harbour turf. 


School:
Breakfast program will start up again on Thursday. Sign up in the main office if you want to volunteer with this amazing program.


It is WELCOME WEEK! Activities all week to welcome our grade 10’s. Check out the caf at lunch for the fun! We also have themes: Today is Tropical Day; Wed: Flannel Day; Thursday: Twin Day; Friday: Teal Day…join in the fun!

Auburn is hosting its 4th annual Fall Craft Fair in October.  Anyone who is interested in joining us to sell their crafts, baked goods or other products can register online - on our Facebook Event "Auburn Fall Craft Fair 2019" or soon on our website.  Contact Ms Ferguson in the music room if you have any questions.

Hey Eagles, On Thursday at lunch in the council room the IWK telethon committee will have their first meeting of the year! If raising money and helping the IWK interests you, new members are welcome to join!!

The first meeting of the Auburn Drive Reach for the Top will be held today after school in room 204. Reach for the Top is a team-based trivia game with questions from all areas of general knowledge. If you like Trivia Crack or Jeopardy or Trivial Pursuit - come on out!

The first meeting of Auburn’s Creative gaming club will be this Thursday at lunch in room 305.

Drama club will take place Tuesdays at lunch in room 202. If you like to play theatre games and just generally have a great time, then is the club for you! Everyone welcome, no experience necessary. :)

If you play guitar or WANT to play guitar please see Mr. Kavanaugh in room 220. He is looking to start up a guitar club.

There will be Christian fellowship this week Thursday at lunch in miss priest room.

Any students interested are invited to the first meeting of the Animal Awareness Committee on Tuesday at lunch in room 204. Feel free to bring your lunch and ideas on how to bring awareness to this worthy cause!

Community:
Any students looking for some part time employment with the Halifax Rec programs, including teaching younger kids dance, gymnastics, or basketball, and who have experience in those fields are asked to see Mr. White at some time during the week.
