Acadia University is holding a couple of Parent-Student Information Nights in the HRM area. Students will get the chance to learn about everything Acadia has to offer, from our 200+ degree combinations, scholarship information, residences, and more!  If students are interested in applying, we will be waiving the application fee and offering on the spot admissions (they just need to bring a copy of their unofficial transcript!). Sessions will take place at the Canada Games Centre – Halifax on December 4th, 2019 at 7:00pm and at the Zatsman Sportsplex – Dartmouth on December 5th, 2019 at 7:00pm.  Students can register here! https://connect.acadiau.ca/portal/acadia-events

A representative from Memorial University in Newfoundland will be here on Monday at lunch, in the Pit, to speak to students about their university, programs and services.  Please stop by to get some information!

Popular YouTuber "MrBeast" has teamed up with the Arbour Day Foundation and challenged the world to plant 20 million trees by 2020 in efforts to reduce the effects of climate change! To honour this, Auburn will be having a green week this week! Our goal is to raise enough money to plant one tree for every student and staff member at Auburn which is 914 trees! It only costs $1 to plant one tree!

Get your tree grams in the pit where you can buy a tree for someone for the holidays! Buy trees for your whole family! There are donation bottles set up around the school. Help us get to our goal!

Recycling stations have been dedicated to this project. Drop off your recyclables in the school or directly to Karen’s where we have an account set up.

In the caf: Hot dogs or hamburgers with chips or a nice, hot soup.
