Grade 12’s heads up: on Friday directly after announcements you will have your group photo taken. It will be outside so be prepared with your warm gear.

Sports:
Auburn Eagles beat the Sackville Kingfishers 8-0 in Girls High School Hockey Action on Monday December 16th at the Sackville Arena. Scoring for Auburn were Rianna Trask with a hatrick, Ellie Hinam with 2 goals and Olivia Matthews, Colby Capstick and Emily Edwards with one each. Kaitlyn Woodworth had the shutout for the Eagles.

The Rugby event that was planned for this evening has been postponed until January. Stay tuned for details!

School:
Our Ghana Gala night has been canceled for this evening but you can still purchase the Ghana goodies to support their community. Please see Ms. Hudson to purchase a calendar or a bracelet. We will be hosting the gala in the new year but will also accept any donations you feel compelled to give now.

We will be having a talent show when we get back from Christmas! The winner of this talent show will perform at acts for aids an hrm wide talent show at citadel high school in support of the Stephen Lewis foundation! Please make sure to sign up on the sign up sheet outside the council room this week if you’re interested in taking part in our talent show and possibly becoming our winner!

Hey Auburn! Coming up is our Holiday Movie Night in the cafeteria and we want to see all of you there! The movie night will be held on Wednesday December 18th from 6:30pm-9:00pm. There will be free admission but bring money for yummy snacks! The movie that will be played is Home Alone ! Also, make sure to wear pyjamas, bring your own pillow and blankets and bring a reusable cup for free refills on drinks!
