Exemption slips are due to be handed in by tomorrow into student services. Please make sure all your books, library and text, have been handed in or accounted for.
Your grad picture proofs are in! Please pick them up from the main office.


Holland College will host a Campus Tour event on Saturday, February 1st from 10am – 2pm. (Storm date of Saturday, February 8th).  They are accepting applications and waiving the application fee at the event.  Check the website for more information.


Acadia University will be here on Wednesday Feb 12th at lunch. This session is for students who have already applied, those who are interested in applying, or any student who wants to chat more about what Acadia has to offer/specific questions. The application fee will be waived! Please sign up in Student Services.

Dalhousie University is hosting two session on the options available to students on how to finance their post-secondary education. Students can join us online on February 5, or in-person on February 12 in Dartmouth, N.S. The sessions will be led by our financial aid and scholarship experts and will help students understand the options for financing their education. Sessions will also cover budgeting tips, how to apply for entrance awards and more. The IWK Foundation invites applications for the Robbie and Jean Shaw Scholarship. This award consists of two non-renewable scholarships valued at $2,500 each.  Eligible applicants are current or former IWK patients who have an academic average of 75% or higher and who are entering their first year of post-secondary studies. Applicants must submit a minimum 500 word essay.  For more information see the bulletin board in Student Services.
Sports:
Auburn Eagles defeated the CP Allen Cheetahs 3-1 in metro high school girls hockey league action at Cole Harbour Place on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020. Goal scorers for Auburn were Ellie Hinam, Emily Edwards and Taylor Ronahan. Next road game for the girls is against Sir John A in Tantallon this Friday January 24th. Go Eagles Go!

School:
There is no breakfast program next week however Mr. Bush will have grab and go exam snacks available to top up your blood sugar before your date with a pen.
Our Auburn Talent show has been postponed until after exams. Apparently our talented people are also dedicated students! We look forward to seeing what our Eagles have to offer in the new semester.


Eagle of the week this week is the entire MATH CLUB. Thanks so much for helping out so much for exams. Sharing your talents like that was amazing!
