The East Coast Credit Union Bursary of $1,000 application is now open.   To be eligible, the applicant must be a member or the child or grandchild of a member of East Coast Credit Union and be enrolled full-time for your first year at an accredited vocational program, college or university for the upcoming academic year.  The deadline is March 5th, 2020.  For more information, please see the bulletin board in Student Services.

Are you interested in signing up for AP Biology next year?  There will be a meeting Thursday at lunch in room 303 for all interested students.  Please join Ms. Lowrie to discuss the course and answer any questions.

Sports:
Auburn Drive Eagles defeated the Citadel Phoenix 2-1 in Overtime to win the best 2 out of 3 hockey playoff series 2 games to nothing. Lauren Beaton scored the OT winner for Auburn while Rachel Edwards scored the other Eagle goal. Auburn Drive Eagles now advance to the Regional Playdowns on March 19th and 20th at the BMO Centre in Bedford. Go Eagles Go!


Boys and Girls Rugby practice WILL take place today from 4 until 5:30 pm.  Next session is scheduled for Thursday, February 13th from 4-6pm in the Gym. No experience necessary and all are welcome.  Hope to see you there.

School:
Yearbooks…the deadline for purchasing yearbooks is February 28th. Only $60 each. Buy them online through our website or in the main office for cash.


Students from Ms. Haws' semester 1 art classes should pick up their End of Semester Projects by Friday. All uncollected work will be disposed of.

Fun, fun, FUN!!
It's that time of year again! Auburn's annual musical. This year's show is called I Think I Want to Marry You, and it is a musical comedy sure to get your toes tapping and your laughter happening. For the low, low price of only $5, (That's right, $5) you can purchase a ticket and experience the fun next Thursday morning, February 20th, during C & D block in the cafeteria. This counts as a school activity and doesn't affect exemptions. Tickets will be on sale at lunch in the pit starting Wednesday and going until next Wednesday. Please come on out and support Auburn's drama department...what a great way to spend a morning!! What a nice Valentine’s gift!

Speaking of Valentines…Nothing says I love You like a bouquet of zombies. Bring your valentine to HvZ Tomorrow night 6-9pm. Only $6 for a night of zombie blasting fun! Special Valentines canteen too! Make Valentine’s last the week with bookends- HvZ before and S and S after. You will be a hero!


This week at Auburn is staff appreciation week. Throughout the week there will be various treats and surprises in the staff room and over the announcements. Thank you to all Auburn Staff for all you do!


This week we will be having some events from Wednesday - Friday. Wednesday - show your love for sweats wear sweats…Thursday - Kissing booth outside the council room (come get a chocolate kiss)…Friday - Valentine’s Day! Wear red and pink!!


At Lunch today:  Chess and Tabletop Gaming meeting Tuesday at lunch in the Library. All welcome to come play, chess boards will be available…Attention Nerf and Runners: there is a meeting today in room 222. Please go right at the beginning of lunch. you will have time to do other stuff….Youth of Today will meet in room 225 at lunch…
