Guidance:
Thursday is transcript pick up day. Please make sure to pick up any transcripts you have placed an order for on Thursday. No need to order one if you have signed up for a university visit. They are printed from the sign up list.

Attention grade 12’s – we have a busy week of visits by universities: today – Mount St Vincent University; Tuesday –Memorial University; Wednesday – St.FX University; Thursday Acadia University (this will be a Pizza lunch for Grade 12 students who have been accepted, are interested in, or have any questions about Acadia University!  They will also be offering free applications! You MUST sign up in Student Services by tomorrow)  and Friday – St. Thomas University. If you are interested in attending any of these lunch time sessions, please sign up in Student Services.

The Moncton Flight College is having their Annual Open House event in Moncton NB at the Moncton Flight College on Saturday March 7th, 2020.  They will have information sessions and booths set up for groups such as the Moncton Flight College, Life in Flight, Nav Canada, Navy League cadets, Air Cadets (pending), Aerospace and Defence, Transport Canada, PAL - EIC airline families with information on pilots, maintenance, flight attendants, and many more.  Please see the poster in Student Services for more information.

A representative from Memorial University of Newfoundland will be here on Tuesday February 25th at 9:30am to discuss their institution, programs and answer any questions students may have.  If interested in attending, please sign up in Student Services.
IODE PROVINCIAL BURSARY: The 2020 bursary application is open for both male & female grade 12 students. The deadline for receiving applications is March 30, 2020.  Late applications will not be considered.  Please make sure students know they have to consider how long it would take for their applications to get to me through the mail system.

The deadline for students to apply for a Dalhousie entrance award is quickly approaching. Students must submit their application for admission, their entrance award application and any supporting documents before March 1 to be considered.

You’re invited to Mount Allison University’s Winter Open House, in Sackville New Brunswick from 8:30 to 4:00 on Friday February 28!  Come alone, bring a friend, relative, parent or teacher and see what your university experience could look like!  There will be opportunities to learn more about support services, to have your questions about residence life answered, and to find out how you can get involved at Mount Allison!  Grade 12’s can also bring along their mid-year transcripts, just in time for our March 1 scholarship and bursary deadline.  There is even a chance to win a $5,000 award towards your residence, and other great MTA prizes!  We welcome you to visit www.mta.ca/openhouse to register, and to see a detailed schedule of our exciting day!

School:
This message is for any grade 10 or 11 students interested in signing up for AP Biology next year. 
Due to the storm day last week, the AP Biology meeting with Ms. Lowrie has been moved to February 25th!  Please come to room 303 at lunch on the 25th to learn more about the AP Biology program.

Hey Eagles! Get excited because on Feburary 26th in the caf from 6:30 - 9pm there's going to be a neon themed dance! $6 with food item and $7 without and you will be able to sign in a guest! You must buy your ticket by tomorrow noon. They will NOT be sold at the door. All proceeds will go to the IWK and the food donations will go to our local food bank.

Breakfast program: We have some volunteers. We could use more. Sign up in the main office. Mr. Bush will have a meeting of all volunteers for all months in the gym TOMORROW at the beginning of lunch.

There will be a Reach for the Top meeting after school today in room 204. All who like trivia are welcome!

Youth of today will meet tomorrow at lunch.
