Grad Photos Nov 16-20... book your sitting in student services NOW

Guidance:
Grad photos! It is that time of year again! They will take place from November 16-20. Go to Student Services to book your appointment. The sitting fee is $20 which you take care of when you have your picture taken. There will be no group photos taken in the school this year. You can contact Adams directly to arrange a group photo session. These are the photos that go into the yearbook so make sure you are included in them!


Saint Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is hosting a Virtual Open House this Saturday, November 7th (10am – 1pm). Attendees will receive STU swag and will automatically be entered in a draw for a $1,000 tuition voucher. They are also waiving attendee application fees and providing applicants with priority processing over the course of this week!  Students can register through the STU web site.


We have a number of virtual open houses happening this week. Please make sure to check student services for more information on the following: Tuesday, Nov 3…Oulton College in Moncton- register on their website; Thursday, Nov 5…Acadia University is hosting a  zoom session here at 11:30 am- sign up in student services; Friday, Nov 6…StFX will be hosting a zoom meeting here also at 11:30 am- sign up in student services and Saturday, Nov 7 Dalhousie is hosting a virtual open house- sign up on their website.

 

The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership is valued at up to $70,000! This national scholarship’s key criterion is outstanding community leadership. Applications are due November 13th. More information in Student Services.

Sports:


BASKETBALL GIRLS: Girls Basketball tryouts are this week in the gym from 4-6 on TODAY AND TOMORROW. Please bring your gear and good luck everyone.


VOLLEYBALL BOYS: Boys Volleyball play their final game this week on today against PA. Good luck Eagles!


VOLLEYBALL BOYS AND GIRLS: Girls and Boys Volleyball will be sharing the gym for their practice this Friday.


HOCKEY GIRLS: Auburn Eagles beat the Halifax West Warriors 3-0 in Girls Metro High School Hockey League Action at Cole Harbour Place on Tues Nov 3rd. Rachel Edwards, Brooklyn McCormick and Bella House scored for Auburn. Kaitlyn Woodworth had the shutout for the Eagles.

School:
DRAMA PRODUCTION: There will be a meeting at lunch on Thursday  in room 202 for those that are interested in being a part of a school production this year. This meeting will be to discuss ideas and gauge interest in a new style of production, perhaps even involving a film production!


Ms. Haws is asking that any students who wish to have their art back from the display case from last school year (Semester 2) to please pick it up at lunch in the art room. All uncollected work will be disposed of after Friday.


In the caf: Pizza, Garlic Finger, Sandwiches, wraps and Quesadillas and spicy rice for the special!
