Guidance:
The University of King’s College is hosting an Essay Writing Contest that is open to grade 12 students. The topic is “What makes a book a classic?”  They invite students to respond to this question using one text of their choice (a novel, play, graphic novel, poem, etc.).  The winner will receive a gift card to the King’s Co-op Bookstore valued at the price of all the books students will need for their first year of university at King’s, and the winning essay will be published on the King’s website. The deadline is December 14. Students can find more details on their website.
