AP CALCULUS: 9:30 AM, TUESDAY, ROOM 304

Guidance:
Prom tickets will go on sale today at lunch in the pit.  Bring your completed prom contracts, all colours, to the table along with your patience for the line- up, your smile for a very busy Ms. Branton and volunteers, and your $70 cash. Ms. Branton will take care of getting you your ticket and your table selection. If you have contracts for students OUTSIDE of Auburn that need to be reviewed: you can hand in your completed contract to purchase your ticket so you don’t miss the window and seating availability. They will be reviewed by our VP’s in the coming weeks. If there are any issues and a sign-in needs to be denied for some reason you will be refunded the full price of the ticket.
A reminder if you have received a scholarship offer AND would like it published in the graduation programme please bring in a copy or email a copy to Ms. Johns in the main office.

St. Francis Xavier University is offering the Class of ’54 Bursary Endowment Fund; this $6000 award is available to a NS student coming directly from a NS public high school who is in severe financial need. Receiving this award would allow someone to attend StFX who otherwise might not be able to attend university due to financial barriers. This award requires a nomination from the student’s guidance counsellor.  If you would like to be considered for this award, you MUST meet with you guidance counsellor by Thursday May 16th

Are you interested in potentially becoming a school ambassador to the internationals students from the Nova Scotia International Student Program?  The role of school ambassador means that you work closely with the international students, help them learn about Canadian culture and plan activities for the students to attend outside of school.  Being a school ambassador is a great way to share about Canadian culture but also learn about different cultures.  If you would like to learn more information about the NSISP ambassador program, please attend an information meeting on Thursday May 23rd, 2019 in Room 217 at 12:05pm.  Applications will be available at that time
The application for St Francis Xavier University’s Entrance Bursaries for the 2019-20 Academic Year is now open.  These bursaries are available to students entering into an academic program at St. Francis Xavier University directly from high school.  Eligibility to apply is based on financial need and meeting the specific criteria of each bursary as outlined on the website. Successful applicants must demonstrate financial need in their application, including the intention to apply for and accept the maximum available government student aid for which they are eligible.  For more information, please visit the website at: http://www2.mystfx.ca/financial-aid/entrance-bursaries
