Guidance:
The Loran Scholars Foundation is offering up to 138 awards funding studies on Canadian campuses. To be eligible, you must be graduating high school in 2020, maintain a minimum cumulative average of 85%, hold Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status, be at least 16 years of age as of September 1, 2020. The sponsored deadline is October 17, 2019 and the direct pool deadline is October 24, 2019. For more information, you can visit www.loranscholar.ca or see the poster in Student Services.

Fee collection will continue today during D Block. If you are on off block please listen for announcements as to where you will be paying.

Sports:
Auburn Baseball tryouts will take place on Mon Sept 9 and Tuesday Sept 10 from 4-6pm at Conrad Memorial Field on Mt Edward Rd. Players must attend at least one tryout.

Girls Soccer tryouts resume Friday Sept 6 from 4:30-6 at Harbour East field #2 in Burnside

Boys Soccer tryouts will begin on Sept 9 and Sept 11 from 4-5:30 on the field behind the school. There is a sign-up sheet for boy soccer tryouts in the gym on the bulletin board. Please sign up before Friday

School:
Upcoming dates: Thursday, Sept 11 is curriculum night; Monday Sept 16 is Picture Day. All students are expected to get the photo taken whether or not you intend to purchase a package. The photos are used on ID’s as well as Powerschool.

Community:
JMS Driving has a two day course running Sept 7 and 8. You can get the contact information on the wall by the cafeteria entrance. They offer a discount for Auburn Students
