  • A reminder that yearbooks are on sale now! Buy yours early as the cost is $55 until December 20th and will increase to $60 from January to March 22nd. No late payments will be accepted!
  • Student Salute goes to Mr Hakim for subbing for so many classes the past week and always being kind and helpful to his students!
  • Eagle of the Week goes to Alexis Lucas for helping out with the athletics board even though she’s not on council.
  • The Auburn Design club will start to meet this Friday in room 104. See Mr. Chiasson for more details.
  • Imhotep will be here after school today.

Sports

  • The girls hockey team plays Lockview in Scotia 1 at Cole Harbour Place today at 4pm, stop by after school to show your support.
  • It is that time of year again.  The Auburn Girls hockey team is having their Annual Hockey Tournament this weekend.  There will be an early dismissal game on Friday at 2:30pm at Cole Harbour Place.  Student tickets are $2 and when presenting your ticket at the game, you will be excused from last period on Friday.  A great way to kick off your weekend.  Tickets will be available at Lunch Time in the pit on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Student Services

  • Junior Achievement will be set up during lunch tomorrow to talk about their Company Program. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for students who are interested in business, leadership, and chances to win awards and scholarships.  For more information, come check them out!
  • A representative from Dalhousie University will be at Auburn Drive High School on Monday November 20th during lunch time in the Pit.  Please come by to ask questions about the university's programs, admission application, scholarships or anything else.

Community

  • Have you ever wanted to make your own cotton candy? Join us for Teen Night at Cole Harbour Public Library this evening to get your chance. It runs from 6-7:30 and it is open to all junior high and high school students. It is totally free and there are snacks.
