  • There will be a Duke of Edinburgh meeting in the library tomorrow at lunch.
  • Hey eagles! Thank you to everyone that donated at our lunch time event yesterday. We raised $70! For Mr Johnson to be pied tomorrow, we will need to raise another $30. For Mr Johnson as well as Mr Ray to be pied tomorrow, we will need to raise an additional $80! We will be fundraising outside of the council room today at lunch! Every penny counts, so donate what you are able to! Remember, all proceeds go towards Movember Canada for Men’s Mental Health and Cancers.
  • Breanna Williams will be hosting a mental health and self-care session with students of African ancestry this afternoon and for all other students tomorrow. Sign up in Student Services ASAP if you are interested in attending.
  • Get a new book to read in time for the holidays. From now until December 6th, bring any book or magazine that you are finished with and receive a credit. Starting on December 6th, you can redeem your credit by choosing a new book. Books will also be on sale for $2, if you don't have a credit. All money earned will go towards purchasing new books for the library.
  • Don’t forget to buy your yearbook early! The cost is $55 until December 20th and the link to buy is on the Auburn website.
  • A Reminder to grade 12 students that Grad Photos will begin on December 6! Don’t forget to book your photo appointment via the link on the school website!
  • Student Salute goes to Mr. Dowding for always adjusting to his student’s needs and always helping them to be as successful as possible.
  • Eagle of the Week goes to Alyssah Perkins for always doing the morning announcements and being so engaged in our school!
  • There will be Peer Tutoring today at lunch.
  • The Youth Health Centre will be hosting the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning on Thursday, November 30 during lunch, in the YHC. Anyone interested in trying printmaking to make cards or patches is welcome to attend.  Please bring your lunch and arrive at the lunch bell on Thursday..
  • Prom fundraiser: Grade 12 semi-formal: The semi-formal for grade 12s will take place next Thursday December 7th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 each and will be on sale this Thursday and Friday during lunch hour. If you want to invite a guest from another school you must purchase a ticket for them and provide their name and school
  • Reminder to the  students of the Africentric Cohort to return their Feedback Sheet to Ms. Hudson by the end of today.

Community

  • The Cole Harbour Public Library is hosting a free Wheel of Fortune Teen Night tonight from 6-7:30! Snacks and prizes will be provided.
