School

• Yearbooks are still on sale! The cost is $55 until next Wednesday,December 20th and will increase to $60 in the new year. The link is on the Auburn website and the deadline is March 22. Late orders will not be accepted.

• There will be peer tutoring today at lunch.

• Chess club will be today at lunch in room 305.

• Reminder of Christian fellowship today in room 225.  It is our last meeting before Christmas so Jason is bringing pizza. All are welcome to come and attend!

• Today at lunch in the Youth Health Centre, located on the 3rd floor at the top of the staircase, a MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning artist will be joining the GSA group to facilitate an art-based activity.  Anyone who is interested is welcome to participate.  Please arrive at the bell with your lunch and be prepared to stay for the lunch break.

• For Spirit week tomorrow celebrate “Frozen Friday” by wearing a sweatsuit.

Sports

• The Girl's basketball team will be selling tickets to their game this Friday vs. Halifax West, which will take place here at Auburn during the last block of the day. Tickets are $2 each and will be sold every day in the Pit from now to Friday.

Community

• Cole Harbour High is doing a formal wear sale, selling prom dresses, suits, semi-formal dresses, etc, for affordable prices.  We welcome students from all schools to come by and check out our affordable formal and semi formal wear! Garments are gently used and range in prices from $20-$300 (all sales are less than half of retail pricing). Garments come as is and buyers are responsible for additional cleaning if they wish. There are limited changing rooms and we recommend shoppers wear clothing they can try the garments on over to reduce wait times. Cash and cheque are preferred for payment. The event is taking place at Cole Harbour High on Saturday, Dec 16th, from 12-4 PM
