  • Reminder of our 50/50 fundraiser to help us buy new bleachers for the gym. Please let your families know to check out our website for information on how they can buy tickets. Sales end on April 25.
  • Hey Eagles, are you looking to upgrade your wardrobe? April 25th and 26th, Auburn’s student council will be holding a thrift store at lunch in the pit. Donations will be collected from now up until the 23rd of April. All donations MUST BE PRE-WASHED, and can be dropped off at student services.
  • A Reminder to Cohort Students to bring in your $75 if you are buying a hoodie.
  • Grade 12 students. Don’t forget to bring letters of any scholarships you are accepting to the main office to have them included in the grad program.

Athletics

  • The Girl’s Rugby team had a convincing win in their season opener against the Millwood Knights yesterday at the Cole Harbour Turf. The team led the game with the score at 44 to nothing at the Halftime Whistle.  They got most of the team on the field and the final score was 98 to Zero. Your scorers for your Auburn Eagles were:  Esosa Eweka with 4 Trys and 3 Conversions, Lucy Van Berkel with 1 Try and 3 Conversions, Ronaysha Provo with 2 Trys, Michshiya Hill with 2 Trys, Brownesha Glasgow with 1 Try, Aliya Laroque with 1 Conversion, Beatrice Annis with 1 Try, Jamya Burrell with 1 Try, Darissa Williams with 1 Try, Alivia Laroque with 2 conversions, Quinn Frelick with 1 Try, Ahniya Slawter with 1 Try and finally Jorja Cain with a try. 
  • Our Next game is against The Halifax West Warriors on Tuesday, April 16th at 4:45pm.  Come out and support the team.  Go Eagles!

Student Services.

  • Grade 12 students! Don’t forget to check the bulletin board in student services regularly for new scholarship and bursary opportunities.
  • A representative from UNB will be here on Tuesday April 16th in the Pit.  He will give Information for all Grades, he will waive the application fee for Grade 12 students and walk through the application process.  He will offer Grade 11 students the opportunity to enter into a Gift basket draw and students who fill out a ballot, will get a chance to win and have Application fee waived for September!
