• Student Salute goes to Ms. Munroe and Ms. Rose for always helping the students at Auburn with any problems they might have.

• Eagle of the Week goes to Esosa Eweka for helping out with grade 9 orientation.

• PMG SpiritWear is coming to our school this Thursday, June 6th to do a pop-up sale! This is a perfect opportunity to get your Auburn merch for the Pep Rally and for Mascot Showdown! This will be the last chance to get in person merch this year, so be sure to stop by room 225!

• Grads! Don’t forget to purchase your Prom tickets, as this week will be the last opportunity to do so. Tickets will be sold this Tuesday through Friday outside the Student Council room during the lunch block.

• Congratulations to our athletes who competed at track and field provincials in Cape Breton this weekend: Ailish Fowler, Liam MacDonald, Sydney Stonehouse, Olivia Ferris and Vonny Beals. Special congratulations to Liam MacDonald for receiving Silver medals in the 100 metre and 200 metre events.

Student Services

• The Online application for the Brad Martin Memorial Bursary can be found in your google classroom.  This Bursary is for a student athlete who is entering a business or commerce program at a post secondary institution this fall. Applications are due on June 13. Please see Student Services for additional information.

Community

• The Cole Harbour Public Library is hosting Teen Night tonight from 6-7:30 to make stuff with Grungeboard. It is open to all junior high and high school students, it is free, and there are snacks.
