Sports:
The Auburn Girls Rugby Team had a thrilling come from behind playoff win against the Charles P Allen Cheetahs yesterday.  The team was losing 12-10 with less than one minute to go, and Ashley Yee carried about 3 CPA players into the try zone for a big score to win the game on the final play.  Other scorers in the game were:  Jessica Hussey with at try & Ashlin O’Reilly with a try and a convert.  A big 17 to 12 win for Auburn who advances to the Semifinals against the undefeated Millwood Knights tomorrow at the Cole Harbour Turf at 3pm.  An excellent game played by all with special mention to our tackling “machines”:  Grace McCluskey & Alex Wright who were all over the field tackling every player in sight! GO EAGLES!!!!!!!

School:
Are you interested in potentially becoming a school ambassador to the internationals students from the Nova Scotia International Student Program?  The role of school ambassador means that you work closely with the international students, help them learn about Canadian culture and plan activities for the students to attend outside of school.  Being a school ambassador is a great way to share about Canadian culture but also learn about different cultures.  If you would like to learn more information about the NSISP ambassador program, please attend an information meeting on Thursday May 23rd, 2019 in Room 217 at 12:05pm.  Applications will be available at that time.
