Grade 12’s heads up: on Friday directly after announcements you will have your group photo taken. It will be outside so be prepared with your warm gear.

Sports:
Auburn Eagles beat the Sir John A Macdonald Flames 5-2 in girls metro high school hockey league action at Cole Harbour Place on Tuesday December 17th, 2019. Leading the way for Auburn was Taylor Ronahan with 2 goals, Emily Edwards, Rianna Trask and Rachel Edwards scored one each for the Eagles
The boys hockey team visited Spryfield last night to take on J.L. Ilsley and defeated them by a final score of 10-1. It wasn't much of a game as Auburn took an early lead and coasted the rest of the way. It was a clean game with neither team receiving a single penalty. Josh Braine faced 17 shots in net for Auburn. The Eagles take on Citadel this Saturday in the final game before the Christmas break."

Ms . Priest invites you all to badminton tomorrow night at 8pm in the gym.


On Friday at lunch, bring your lunch, wear your PJ’s and come to Ms. Priest’s room to watch some anime. Bring your pillows and blankets to get comfy and join the fun.


School:
Hey Auburn! Coming up is our Holiday Movie Night in the cafeteria and we want to see all of you there! The movie night will be held TONIGHT from 6:30pm-9:00pm. There will be free admission but bring money for yummy snacks! The movie that will be played is Home Alone ! Also, make sure to wear pyjamas, bring your own pillow and blankets and bring a reusable cup for free refills on drinks!


Tree Team up date we are past the half way mark, we have raised $534. towards planting a tree for everyone at Auburn! To reach our goal we need to raise $380. more dollars. For your last minute gifts you can still plant a tree gift cards in the office and the Auburn Tree Team account will remain open at Karen's recycling until Jan 9 so please help us reach our goal and drop your recyclables after the holidays. Thank you for your support Mr. Beast's challenge was our inspiration but it has been a group accomplishment.
