School

• Hey Eagles, the Terry fox walk is this Thursday during 2nd period! Be sure to drop off a signed permission slip and a toonie at the office by Wednesday if you wish to participate. All participants will be given a freezee and will have a chance to win a Terry Fox T Shirt! Permission slips can be found in the office!
• Auburn Jibbetz are now on sale in the main office for $5 each.
• Are you looking for a new challenge?  Do you want to develop new skills?  Are you interested in camping and the great outdoors?  Do you want to build your resume?  Do you want an extra credit on your transcript?  The Duke of Edinburgh Award is all this and more.  Come to our information session on Wednesday at lunch in the library or see Ms Chambers or Mr MacLean for more information.
• Chess club will take place on Wednesday at lunch in room 305.
• Student Salute goes to our vice principals Mr MacLellan and Mr McDougall for all their hard work and dedication to school during our first month back!
• Eagle of the Week goes to Ava Stevens, Sarah Neville, and Zoe Naugler for helping move things into the council room even though they’re not on council!

Sports

• There will be a football home game against the Bayview Sharks tonight at 7pm at the Cole Harbour Turf.  Please wear orange to the game to show your support for Residential School Survivors.
• Intramural co-ed soccer will take place in the gym at lunch starting on Tuesday, October 3. Sign up is posted in the gym.

Other

• Learn to make Mi'kmaq bannock during Teen Night at Cole Harbour Public Library on Tuesday evening. It runs from 6-7:30 and it is open to all junior high and high school students. It is totally free and you'll get to take home your own dough to bake.
