  • Did you know? Oral traditions are the backbone of Indigenous knowledge. Transfer and storytelling is the method by which much is shared. Storytelling serves to connect individuals and communities to their place and time as well as each other. Stories are also used to teach history, cultural etiquette, and spiritual beliefs.
  • Any Cadets who are interested in helping out with this year's Remembrance Day ceremony please sign up in the main office.
  • Chess club is canceled this Wednesday. It will instead happen at lunch on Thursday in room 305.
  • There will be a Bake Sale tomorrow.
  • Imhotep will take place today after school.
  • Duke of Edinburgh participants: All money must be in by tomorrow. Please see Ms Chambers, if you have any questions. There will be a meeting in the library tomorrow at lunch.
  • One week left to bring your favourite fictional character to life as a decorated pumpkin. All submissions must be brought to the library by October 30th. Please see Ms Chambers if you have any questions.
  • The Cadets will be here at lunch today to provide information for anybody interested in finding out more.

Sports

  • There are 2 tryout dates remaining for the Auburn Boys Basketball Team. The dates and times are: today from 6-8pm & Thursday from 8-10pm.  The team will then be picked for the season after these last two tryouts.  Information about the Boys Junior Varsity basketball will be coming soon. 
  • There will be a girls hockey game today at Cole Harbour Place, Scotia 1 arena, 4 pm vs Citadel, come on out and support the team!.

Cafeteria

  • Lunch today in the cafeteria will be Spaghetti.
