School

• Yearbook Committee is asking all students to check their gnspes email for a link to a Google Form titled POPULAR TRENDS. This is your chance to vote on trends in our school and results will be printed in the Yearbook. The form will be opened for voting until March 8th.

• A reminder that Yearbooks are on sale. You can purchase your book via school cash online or pay cash at the office. You only have 4 weeks left to make this purchase. No late orders will be accepted and no extra Yearbooks will be ordered.

• All tickets and money for the Prom Gift Card fundraiser are due into the office today.

• Chess Club will take place at lunch today in room 305.

• Those grade 11 students interested in applying for the Lieutenant Governor’s award are reminded that they have until noon on Monday to either email your letters to Ms. Hudson or to drop them off to the main office.

Student Council

• March Madness is March 4-8th. This is a spirit week and food drive COMPETITION amongst ALL schools in HRM! Our donations will be going to the Preston Community Fridge and Cole Harbour Community Fridge!  We will be collecting non perishable food items and monetary donations from Monday to Friday, and dropping the donations off FRIDAY AFTERNOON (March 8th)

• Next week will also be a spirit week! Each day will have the following themes:

1. Monday - Country vs Preppy - Line Dancing
2. Tuesday - Rep your artist vs team - Mini Floor Hockey
3. Wednesday -  Red Flags vs Green Flags - Pudding Drop
4. Thursday - PJ’s and Sweats - Last Period Movie, Donation box at Cheer Event
5. Friday - Teal Day - Picture with Boomer, Fashion Show
