School

• Yearbook Committee is asking all students to check their gnspes email for a link to a Google Form titled POPULAR TRENDS. This is your chance to vote on trends in our school and results will be printed in the Yearbook. The form will be opened for voting until March 8th.

• A reminder that Yearbooks are on sale. You can purchase your book via school cash online or pay cash at the office. You only have 4 weeks left to make this purchase. No late orders will be accepted and no extra Yearbooks will be ordered.

• Those grade 11 students interested in applying for the Lieutenant Governor’s award are reminded that you have until noon today to submit your letters. Any letters brought in past noon will not be accepted.

Athletics

• Wrestling: Congratulations to Breanne Phee and Josh Bissett who both won gold at provincials at Kings Edgehill this weekend!  Breanne won gold as a rookie in high school wrestling and Josh finished his high school wrestling career with an undefeated record and as a three time provincial champion!!

• Badminton: Badminton tryouts this week are tonight from 6-8 and Tuesday from 8-10.

Student Council

• March Madness is March 4-8th! It is a spirit week/food drive and COMPETITION amongst ALL schools in HRM! Our donations will be going to the Preston Community Fridge and Cole Harbour Community Fridge!

• We will be collecting non perishable food items and monetary donations from Monday to Friday, and dropping the donations off FRIDAY AFTERNOON (March 8th)

• We will also be having a spirit week to go along and tomorrow is REP YOUR TEAM vs REP YOUR ARTIST!
