  • Reminder of our 50/50 fundraiser to help us buy new bleachers for the gym. Please let your families know to check out our website for information on how they can buy tickets. Sales end on April 25.
  • Hey Eagles, are you looking to upgrade your wardrobe? April 25th and 26th, Auburn’s student council will be holding a thrift store at lunch in the pit. Donations of clothes, accessories and books will be collected from now up until the 23rd of April. All clothing donations MUST BE PRE-WASHED, items can be dropped off at student services.
  • Grade 12 students. Don’t forget to bring letters of any scholarships you are accepting to the main office to have them included in the grad program.
  • Reminder to staff and students that we have people in the building who are very allergic to strawberries. Please do not bring strawberries into the building
  • Bingo in support of prom is happening this Thursday at 6pm in the caf. Please remind your parents and friends.
  • Student Salute goes to Mr. Gillis for being a great sub and for taking on a new role.
  • Eagle of the Week goes to Ava MacDonald for stepping up as the girls lacrosse goalie!
  • There will be peer tutoring today.

Athletics

  • There will be a Boys Rugby practice today and tomorrow after school outside. Please meet at the bleachers beside the school and be dressed ready and ready to practice at 4pm. Cleats and mouth guards are required. Please be sure to bring your permission slips and rugby fee if you have not already done so. Permission slips are available in the main office.
  • Track and field practice is today after school for field events and distance runners.  Sprinters will be at 6pm at the track. Please see Mr Ray or Ms Priest or scan the QR code on the sign up sheets throughout the school.
  • Anyone interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee please meet in the gym on Tuesday at 12:15 or see Mr.Bush.

Student Services.

  • Grade 12 students! Don’t forget to check the bulletin board in student services regularly for new scholarship and bursary opportunities.

Community

  • Cole Harbour Public Library will be hosting a gardening and art program from 6-7:30 pm tomorrow to pot houseplants in teacups and create fairy garden saucers! It is open to all junior high and high school students, it is totally free, and there are snacks.
