BOYS SOFTBALL TRYOUTS CANCELED TONIGHT. RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY 6-8PM AT BISSETT FIELD.

Guidance:
A reminder to grads that, prior to collecting your diploma, you will need to clear up any outstanding fees, including grad fees, student fees, text books and/or library books. Student fees and grad fees can be taken care of in Student services or the main office.  For information on lost library books please see Ms. Code-MacNeil, for lost text books please see your VP.


Prom tickets will be on sale at lunch times until Friday of next week only. You need a completed contract to purchase any ticket and/or reserve a seat at a table. Tickets will NOT be available for purchase after May 24th.


St. Francis Xavier University is offering the Class of ’54 Bursary Endowment Fund; this $6000 award is available to a NS student coming directly from a NS public high school who is in severe financial need. Receiving this award would allow someone to attend StFX who otherwise might not be able to attend university due to financial barriers. This award requires a nomination from the student’s guidance counsellor.  If you would like to be considered for this award, you MUST meet with you guidance counsellor by Thursday May 16th


A last minute scholarship opportunity from NS Tourism Human Resource Council. The deadline is today. Check it out in student services.


The application for St Francis Xavier University’s Entrance Bursaries for the 2019-20 Academic Year is now open.  These bursaries are available to students entering into an academic program at St. Francis Xavier University directly from high school.  Eligibility to apply is based on financial need and meeting the specific criteria of each bursary as outlined on the website. Sports:
Auburn Boys Softball tryouts will be at Bissett Field on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm. RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY 6PM-8PM AT BISSETT FIELD. All are welcome!

Our Girls Rugby team were at Sackville high yesterday. Once again they were victorious with  Shutout at 36-0. This win puts us into the play offs. Congratulations to our Eagles flying high!

School:
Eagles of the week this week are Peter Oldreive and Jarrod Keys for helping out with the tech on the night of Mr. Auburn.


The winner of the Eagle of the week gift card for April is Taylor Lily. You can all pick up your treats in the main office.


Student Salute this week goes to all of our Custodians for all the help after each of our messy events. Thank you for your tireless efforts!

The Business Management 12 class will be putting on a food sale tomorrow at lunch in the pit. There will be a variety of treats for sale, including warm crepes. Proceeds will go towards supporting prom, so please come out and support a great cause."

Auburn’s final band concert is Thursday evening 6:30 pm. Some GoT action, a little Legends of the Fall, a little Queen..something for everyone!... there is a scholarship opportunity for those in severe financial need and wanting to attend St FX but you MUST see your guidance counselor by tomorrow in order to qualify for the nomination…
Aubcon is coming! Saturday May 25th…just $10 at the door, or $8 in advance at the main office until May 21st, will get you access to all things Geek and Nerd. You don’t want to miss it!
