A representative from St. FX University will host a lunch time visit on Wednesday February 26h for Grade 12 students who have been accepted, are interested in, or have any questions about St. FX University!  They will be offering free applications! You MUST sign up in Student Services by Tuesday February 25th.

The Salt Marsh Trail Running Club Scholarship is valued at $500. This scholarship is given out annually to the student who best exemplifies what it means to be a well-rounded person. Not only does this student strive to do their best academically, but balances their life by participating in sports and involving themselves in the greater community, particularly through volunteer work.  Student is required to submit a short (200 word approx.) essay outlining why they would be a good candidate for this scholarship, especially highlighting their activities within the community, what their community at large means to them and what their goals are for the future.  The application deadline is May 25, 2020.  Please see the bulletin board in Student Services for more information.

The Youth Ambassadors Program with Canada is a 3-week leadership exchange program in the United States for teenagers ages 15-18 and adult mentors. The program provides full scholarships for participants to take part in cultural and educational programming focused on civic engagement and social entrepreneurship.  For more information, please see the poster in Student Services.

Sports:
The last tryout for Badminton is this Thursday from 8 to 10 at night. If you want a chance at the team you need to come Thursday.

The Boys Hockey Team won the first game of their playoff series versus Dartmouth High last night. The Eagles came out flying, taking 4 goals in the first period on their way to a 5-2 win. Conar Brace played great in nets for Auburn. Game 2 takes place this Friday night at 8:00pm at the Sportsplex as the Eagles hope to end the series. Come on out and cheer on the Eagles."

A reminder of rugby tryouts for both girls and boys this afternoon right after school from 6pm to 8pm (this is a time change from an earlier announcement). Please bring your athletic gear, no experience is necessary.

Yearbook countdown is on! You only have one more week to buy your yearbook. Sales close next Friday, Feb 28th. $60 on line or cash in the office. We had a wait list last year and a lot of disappointed people. Order yours ahead of time. Make sure you hang on to your receipt.

Fun, fun, FUN!!
It's that time of year again! Auburn's annual musical. This year's show is called I Think I Want to Marry You, and it is a musical comedy sure to get your toes tapping and your laughter happening. For the low, low price of only $5, (That's right, $5) you can purchase a ticket and experience the fun next Thursday morning, February 20th, during C & D block in the cafeteria. This counts as a school activity and doesn't affect exemptions. Today is the last day to get your ticket! Please come on out and support Auburn's drama department...what a great way to spend a morning!!

Breakfast program: we would love to have it back. Please sign up in the main office to help. Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings. We have had a volunteer come forward from PA…surely we can take care of our own. Please sign up.
