  • Did you know?  The Mi’kmaq Grand Council is the traditional government of the Mi’kmaq peoples, established before the arrival of Europeans. The council survives to this day, although its political powers have been restricted by federal legislation, such as the Indian Act. Today, the Mi’kmaq Grand Council members advocate for the promotion and preservation of Mi’kmaq people, language and culture.
  • Yearbooks are now on sale via School Cash Online!  Yearbooks are $55 until December 20th. The cost will increase to $60 in January and the deadline to order is March 22nd. No late payments will be accepted.
  • A reminder to students who have off block during A block that Student ID’s are available to be picked up in the main office.
  • There is a mandatory Duke of Edinburgh meeting at lunch today in the library. New members are welcome.
  • Peer Tutoring will be happening today in room 221 at lunch.
  • Imhotep is today after school.

Community

  • Cole Harbour is opening a Community Fridge on Oct 21/23; behind the Cole Harbour Woodside United Church, at 15 Bissett Road.  Auburn is collecting dry good donations between Oct 10 and 20th  for the grand opening. Donations can be left at the main office or in the Schools Plus room (Room 105).  Let's show our community how Auburn Eagles give back!
