School

  • The Mi'kmaq were the first people in Nova Scotia. They belonged to a wider coalition known as the Wabanaki Confederacy, whose members were in turn part of the Algonquin-language family in eastern North America. The Mi'kmaq presence can be traced as far back as 10,000 years.
  • Yearbooks are now on sale via School Cash Online!  Yearbooks are $55 until December 20th. The cost will increase to $60 in January and the deadline to order is March 22nd. No late payments will be accepted.
  • A reminder to students who have an off block during A block, to pick up their Student ID’s in the main office.
  • Anyone interested in joining book club, please meet in the library at lunch.
  • Grad Photos will take place from December 5 -15.  The booking link will be posted soon.
  • School Photo Re-Takes will be on November 3.

Student Services

  • Bayview High School is hosting a Canadian University Fair on the evening of November 16th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. There are 24 Canadian universities confirmed to attend, including universities from Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.  Auburn Drive High School students and families are welcome to attend.

Community

  • Cole Harbour is opening a Community Fridge on Oct 21/23; behind the Cole Harbour Woodside United Church, at 15 Bissett Road.  Auburn is collecting dry goods donations between Oct 10 and 20th  for the grand opening. Donations can be left at the main office or in the Schools Plus room (Room 105).  Let's show our community how Auburn Eagles give back!
