  • Did you know? The eight-point Mi'kmaq star is used today, not only as a cultural symbol but also a design emblem. Many Mi'kmaq artists use the star to decorate their blankets, baskets, drums, moccasins and many other craft items.
  • A GSA meeting will take place at lunch in the youth health center.
  • There will be a pumpkin carving contest taking place next Monday at lunch time. NSISP and Canadian students are welcome to participate. Groups of 2 are allowed. A vote will take place on Tuesday October 31st and the winner will receive a $20 gift card. Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board in Student Services.
  • Reminder of Christian fellowship today at lunch in room 225.
  • Peer Tutoring will take place today at lunch.
  • Any members of the three branches of Cadets who would be interested in helping out with this year's Remembrance day ceremony please sign up in the office.

Community

  • Tomorrow is the last day to bring in dry goods for the Grand Opening of the Cole Harbour Community Fridge on October 21. Donations can be dropped off at the main office or in the Schools Plus room (Room 105).  Let's show our community how Auburn Eagles give back!
  • Cole Harbour Public Library is hosting a free makerspace program this Saturday from 2:30-4:00 pm. It is open to everyone and you'll be making colour-changing magic potions!
