The Auburn Eagles girls hockey Team continued their winning ways with another huge victory against the Halifax Warriors yesterday. The Eagles thumped the Warriors 7-1 in front of a good size crowd. Auburn dominated the play and fired 37 shots on the Halifax goalie. Leading the way for the Eagles were Anna Townsend and Zoe Fischer with 2 goals each, Isabelle Lukenda, Sophie Cormier and Julia Cashen with 1 each. Assists went to Anna Townsend, Lauren Herritt, Isabelle Lukenda, Kayla Macleod, Mikayla Matthews, Julia Cashen, Angelina Crowley and Sophie Cormier. Auburn's goaltenders Meredith Giffin and Mackinley Kellestine were superb between the pipes. The Eagles next regular season game at home is Thursday November 20th vs the Citadel Phoenix at 4PM in SC2.
Just a reminder the Auburn Girls Classic Hockey Tournament takes place November 21st to 23rd. All games are at Cole Harbour Place. The Girls have won this tournament back to back 3 consecutive years back in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Go Auburn Go!
Cheer tryouts will be after school today in the Auburn gym.
