QEII – Nova Scotia Health Authority is looking for student volunteers, ages 16+, for the summer in the areas of Caring Support, Gardening/Environment, and Health Care/Emergency. Sports:
Anyone interested in playing ultimate Frisbee the first tryout is Tuesday 3:45 to 5:30pm. Be prepared for indoor or out.


Track and Field sprint practice is Sunday from 10 a.m. – Noon. 


School:
A reminder to all  Potterheads The Potter Potluck is taking place in Professor Elliott's room at lunch time this coming Wednesday, May 15. The signup sheet has room for a few more if you would like to come. We are looking for Harry Potter themed food and costuming. It is an event you don’t want to miss!
Mark your calendars!  Auburn's Music Program final concert + awards will be held next Thursday evening at 6:30pm. Staff and students are encouraged to join us to hear fantastic music from "Game of Thrones", "Legends of the Fall," the Beach Boys and Queen. This is a family-friendly event, so bring along your little ones.

Also on the near horizon is AUBCON! Do you like video games, manga, cosplay, dungeons and dragons, magic the gathering, board games, nerf wars… you need to check us out on Saturday, May 25 from 10 am to 4pm! Tickets are $10 at the door or you can get them at the main office for just $8 until May 21.


Attention singers:  The Cantatrice Ensemble Girls’ Choir is one of Halifax's most coveted honour choirs and they are holding auditions for new members on June 3 (Tantallon Senior Elementary School), June 10 (Georges P. Vanier School) and June 17 (Cavalier Drive School), from 7-8:30 pm. The audition piece will be “O Canada”. Applicants must be in Grade 7-12 as of September 2019. Please arrange an audition time by contacting the director at KNewhook-MacDonald@hrce.ca.
